Found Work

This work I always look back to as I think of it as a picnic. Pick up and chose what you want to have. The print/object combination I think could be something I could add to my work in order to project the fact that i am a hands on designer, I have used mine so now you use yours!

New Fairytale Font/FASHION BRIEF

This alphabet has been an idea towards my next project. The next step for this is to cut out the actual letters and see what they look like empty...coming soon.

EVA

Inspiration from Eva's Crib. Found items and images/postcards that this woman has kept and displayed on the walls of her house. Why is it that other peoples things are so much more interesting than your own...?

Taking over the Floor

How the prints started to take over the floor! Laying things out in front of me is a big part of seeing my work evolves and this was a a great way of seeing how different fonts and alignments of text could come together.

Prints

Here is a collection of letter prints that I worked on in the studio. The mixture of work here includes: WSA directory experiments, my own logo combination with a fine artist, and themed work out in Barcelona to do with the sounds of the city.

WSA Directory

Letterpress creation over the holidays and wanted to create something I could put towards the WSA Directory group. These are printed but are yet to be rearranged to be something more useful.

Metro vs Combo

Working with measurements and logos. This was my attempt at firstly trying to get a creative flow of working in Patrick's studio. It never went anywhere in the end but It was enjoyable whilst having ago.

This is where I was working in Patrick Thomas studio over the holidays. It was such an experience seeing him work in the industry and a pleasure in being and working in his studio. I had trouble a first kicking the brain into gear but then things started to work back to normal. This was a great time for me to think about what I am trying to achieve whilst being a University and I thoroughly enjoyed this chance I had. Many Thanks Patrick.

Metro in Spain

Whilst in Barcelona, I have had the great opportunity to work in the designer Patrick Thomas Studio. As he specialises in screen printing i am trying to come up with a piece to print myself in his studio, its time to take the bull by the horns and RUN!
